Her journey continued in Mount Vernon and the Bronx, New York, where exposure to diverse cultures, vibrant communities, and Caribbean influences expanded her culinary perspective. What began as a love for feeding others grew into a passion for bringing cultures together through food. In 2020, she began sharing her creations with the community, eventually building a catering business that has served clients across North Carolina.

Today, that passion lives on through MBK Southern Fusion in Greenville, where Miss Bonnie brings heritage and worldly inspiration together in a distinctive dining experience. Rooted in Southern comfort yet inspired by flavors from across the globe, her kitchen celebrates the beauty of culinary discovery without losing sight of what matters most: generous hospitality, unforgettable flavor, and food made to bring people together.
